He has over 15 years of experience advising clients in the life sciences sector on regulatory, IP, and commercial issues related to medicinal products, medical devices, food supplements, cosmetics, and plant protection products. He also advises on pharmacovigilance, compliance, cannabis legislation, eHealth, and commercial agreements. Before joining Bird & Bird in 2008, he worked for the Italian Ministry of Health, the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), and the European Medicines Agency (EMA), where he handled IP protection and innovation development legal matters.
