Emma is a Partner at Ogier in the Cayman Islands. She specializes in Cayman Islands investment funds, with broad experience advising on hedge and private equity structures. She is part of Ogier's multi-disciplinary Private Equity team and advises private equity sponsors and investors. She also advises hedge fund managers, financial institutions, investors, and onshore counsel on the establishment, regulation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance of Cayman investment funds. Additionally, she advises on corporate and commercial matters including restructurings, mergers, and listings on the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange. She joined Ogier in 2017 after spending ten years in the investment funds team of another leading international law firm in the Cayman Islands. She was admitted in Scotland (non-practising) in 2003 and in the Cayman Islands in 2008.
