James Angus is a seasoned disputes lawyer, trial advocate, and Partner at Ogier in Jersey. He specializes in contentious corporate matters, representing global institutions, stakeholders, and fiduciary/corporate services businesses. His expertise includes complex commercial and chancery litigation, high-value shareholder disputes (notably unfair prejudice), director and fiduciary proceedings, restructuring and insolvency (including recognition and complex asset recovery), Jersey schemes of arrangement (acting in the two largest schemes in Jersey corporate history), and contentious trust matters with corporate, directors’ duties, and cross-border elements.
