Will Austin-Vautier is the Head of Channel Islands Employment and Immigration at Ogier, based in Jersey. His employment law practice covers discrimination, data protection, regulatory matters (including housing and work controls), employment relations, and general commercial expertise. He advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters, including business start-ups, M&A, organisational change, workforce management, trade union issues, and contractual disputes. He acts for Channel Islands private sector employers, senior finance executives, entrepreneurs, and family offices. He was admitted as a Jersey advocate in 2014. Will serves as Secretary of the Jersey Branch of the Employment Lawyers' Association, contributes to the Employment Forum, and was previously a co-adviser in the first employment case heard by the Jersey Court of Appeal.
