Edwin Wong is a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong office and a member of the Firm's Investment Funds Practice Group. He specializes in advising clients on the formation of a broad spectrum of private investment funds, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, venture capital, debt and clean energy funds. He has represented clients from offices in London, Hong Kong and Sydney, with particular expertise in co-sponsored private funds and joint venture fund platforms in the data center and logistics sectors. He also counsels on carried interest and co-investment arrangements and advises on regulatory and licensing issues in Asia. He represents sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors on alternative assets investment programs. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie in 2015, he spent seven years in London in the private funds groups of a global US and UK law firm.
