Alejandra joined the Firm in 2012. She is an associate in the Banking Finance and Major Projects group in Mexico. She has experience in real estate and infrastructure, urban development and environmental matters since 2010. She advises retail, touristic and manufacturing industries on drafting and negotiation of agreements, acquisition of real estate properties and opening of new business locations, as well as securing, reviewing and renewing of operating permits, including environmental permits and assessments. She has advised international companies on environmental and real estate due diligence, including securing certificates of compliance before federal agencies in Mexico, especially in the Bajio area. She has experience advising foreigners for the acquisition of real estate properties in the restricted zone of Mexico. She has advised companies in the alcoholic beverages industry on land tenure matters and novel legal structures for legal certainty with agricultural producers and ejido members in Oaxaca, Jalisco and Guanajuato.
