Monica Chao is a partner at Baker McKenzie's Taipei office and a core member of the Intellectual Property (IP) team. She has extensive experience in IP advisory and business-oriented services, including brand protection, brand portfolio management, and IP dispute resolution through both non-litigation and civil/criminal litigation. She handles IP management and enforcement for multinational companies in the luxury, high-tech, and consumer products industries in Taiwan. She currently serves as co-chair of the Luxury Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan (ECCT) and as a board director of the Taiwan Trademark Association (TTA).
