TJ Briggs is an Associate in the Business & Commercial Disputes Practice Group at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. Based in the United States, his practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including business litigation, civil disputes, employment matters, and consumer finance litigation. He has experience representing financial institutions in matters involving federal and state regulations, unfair and deceptive acts and practices, force-placed insurance, and cybersecurity-related fund transfer disputes. He joined the firm after two summers as a summer associate in the Kansas City office. He attended the University of Kansas School of Law, where he served as managing editor for the Kansas Law Review and was a quarterfinalist at the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition. He is an active member of the firm's LGBTQ+ Affinity Group.
