Harold Hagen is a Partner in the Corporate and Finance Transactions Department at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. With over 18 years of experience, he represents commercial real estate finance and capital markets clients, including financial institutions, loan servicers, banks, rating agencies, Fannie Mae DUS and Freddie Mac multifamily lenders, insurance companies, private equity firms, and debt fund managers. He advises on complex transactions such as large loan origination, securitization, servicing, buyouts of public companies, senior and subordinate debt trading, and workouts. Mr. Hagen also handles California and national commercial real estate matters including purchases and sales, leasing, ground leasing, construction contracts, 1031 exchanges, private placement of real estate investment securities, and formation/acquisition/merger of real estate investment vehicles. He is active in the firm’s LGBTQ Lawyers Affinity Group, Co-Chair of the San Francisco Leadership Council for Lambda Legal, and has received a Pro Bono award for helping families purchase public housing after Hurricane Katrina. Professional affiliations include the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.
