Eric Spose is an Associate in the Corporate and Finance Transactions practice at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, focusing on real estate finance, commercial mortgage servicing, and other commercial real estate transactions. He has experience advising public and privately held REITs on all stages of commercial real estate acquisition, sale, and development, with particular emphasis on tax-free 1031 exchanges. Prior to his current position, he worked at another North Carolina law firm. He earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he served as an Executive Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review, and has also co-instructed a Commercial Real Estate Transactions course at his alma mater.
