Michèle Grégoire is a Partner at Jones Day in Belgium, based in the Litigation department. She is one of only 20 lawyers admitted to the Belgian Supreme Court Bar and frequently appears before the Council of State, Constitutional Court, and European Court of Justice. She has extensive experience in business restructuring, banking and financial services, securities and contract law, acting for major listed companies, financial institutions, and investment funds. She also serves as an arbitrator in national and international cases. Additionally, she is a Professor at the University of Brussels (former Dean of the Law Faculty) and an invited Professor at University Paris-Panthéon-Assas, which awarded her a Doctor Honoris Causa in 2022. She is the author of numerous scientific books on securities, banking, financial law, international insolvency proceedings, business restructuring, and contractual law, and frequently speaks at seminars and conferences.
