Fernando Verdín's practice is centered on energy and administrative law in Mexico. He advises clients on private sector aspects of commercial matters relating to public regulations, the legal and regulatory scope of the Mexican power authority, and the repealed Electric Power Public Service Law. He guides clients through alternative solutions to complex regulatory problems during the development and acquisition of renewable energy projects, and reviews drafts and legal instruments required for the sale, purchase, and financing of projects. He also has experience drafting and negotiating PPAs.
