Alberto de la Parra focuses on project structuring, finance, and corporate and restructuring transactions in the infrastructure industry. He has represented clients in various energy and oil and gas projects, and in the transportation sector, represented the Mexican government in the implementation of the financing plan for the construction of the new Mexico City Airport. His experience includes the Mexican Airport network privatization and subsequent representation of the resulting airport groups. He was involved in the representation of financial institutions in project finance issues in complex transactions related to securitization of assets and financing of rail company transactions and toll roads. He represented financial institutions in the financing for Grupo Mexico Transportes for the Florida East Railroad acquisition, and represented Banco Santander in the financing of a 220 MW cogeneration plant. He represented Mexican development banks in the structuring of financing for Pemex refineries modernization. He has also represented Banco Santander in structured financings in the infrastructure industry, including the financing for the Mitikah project, and represented Grupo México in the acquisition of real estate projects such as Planigrupo.
