Carolyn Alford represents financial institutions, funds, private equity sponsors, issuers and corporate borrowers on a wide range of complex and innovative finance matters including acquisition, unitranche, first lien/second lien and mezzanine financings, leveraged and investment-grade syndicated credit facilities, private placements of notes and asset-based lending. She has an extensive track record in financing matters for healthcare, pharma, energy, telecom and media sectors. She co-leads the Finance & Restructuring practice and serves on the firm's Managing Policy Committee. She is a fellow and past-President of the American College of Investment Counsel and the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers. She serves on the Board of the Atlanta Women's Foundation and the Children's Hospital of Atlanta Foundation.
