Bassem Caradec advises clients on French and international structured finance, securitisation, fund finance, asset-based lending, and leveraged finance transactions. He has extensive experience with securitisation and factoring programs, cross-border structures, asset-based structured transactions across various asset classes, and the establishment of French debt funds for infrastructure, SME loans, and non-performing loans via fintech platforms. He has also assisted in setting up French debt funds authorised as European Long Term Investment Funds (ELTIF). Additionally, he advises investment funds and credit institutions on fund finance matters including equity bridge and NAV facilities in multi-jurisdictional transactions. He is a mentor at the Frateli association and has previously worked in the Paris offices of two large international law firms.
