Michael Kim is a partner in Mayer Brown's Singapore office. He advises and represents project sponsors, developers, governments, export credit agencies, multilateral agencies and commercial lenders on the project development and financing of power, oil & gas and infrastructure projects. He advises on wind, solar, hydropower, geothermal and thermal power projects, oil & gas and petrochemical facilities and major infrastructure projects including subsea transmission cables, water treatment facilities, railroads, telecom towers and stadiums. He has extensive experience in structuring, drafting and negotiation of project and finance documents including power purchase agreements, concession agreements and full suite of finance documents for limited and non-recourse project financings. He also regularly advises Korean clients on corporate, commercial and dispute-related matters in the infrastructure and transport sectors.
