Jonathan A. Nunes is a Partner and co-lead of Sidley's global Securitization and Structured Finance practice. His practice focuses on structured finance, including public and private commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), commercial mezzanine loan securitizations, re-REMICs, CRE CLOs, and mezzanine loans. He represents issuers, sponsors, underwriters, originators, special servicers, investors, and loan sellers in commercial real estate capital markets transactions. He has experience with securities law compliance, securitizations of data centers, wireless communication lease and tower assets, and NNN lease portfolios. He also advises on commercial mortgage loan workouts, whole loan portfolio purchases and sales, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters involving real estate and CMBS.
