Matthew is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Finance team in the Maples Group’s Cayman Islands office. He has extensive experience advising both borrower and lender side clients on all stages of the funding lifecycle. His clients include hedge funds, private equity funds, banks and non-bank lenders. Matthew St-Amour is a partner in the Finance team of Maples and Calder (part of the Maples Group) in the Cayman Islands. He advises borrowers and lenders across the funding lifecycle, with clients including hedge funds, private equity funds, banks, and non-bank lenders. His practice covers fund finance, structured finance, derivatives, collateral and credit support arrangements, and insolvency-related matters. He has experience in UK and Chapter 11 restructurings. He joined the Maples Group in 2022 and became partner in 2024, having previously trained and qualified at Slaughter and May in 2012.
