Romain Marsella joined CMS Francis Lefebvre in 2000 and became a partner in 2014. He practices in tax law and provides advice and handles litigation for national and international corporate groups on all aspects of taxation. He has a particular focus on the insurance and renewable energy sectors. He has extensive experience over a long period advising insurance groups on the French Insurance Code and the Mutuality Code: during reorganisations (which often involve insurance portfolio transfers); and during tax audits (including negotiations with the National and International Tax Audit Directorate (DVNI) and disputes litigated before the courts).
