Clifford Chance · Mel Chan regularly advises sponsors, multilateral development banks, development finance institutions, export credit agencies and commercial banks on the financing of energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular emphasis on Asia Pacific. Her experience spans across the oil & gas, refining and petrochemicals, power and infrastructure sectors. She has worked on numerous first-of-a-kind projects, and has handled multiple complex multi-source financings and blended finance transactions. She also has extensive experience on ECA-backed financings. Mel is a member of the Clifford Chance Global Energy Transition Initiative. Her focus is on renewables, carbon capture, green fuels and clean hydrogen/ammonia.
