
Jen Wei Loh
Loh Jen Wei is a senior partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group and Co-Head of the Shipping practice. Jen Wei's practice is in civil and commercial litigation and international arbitration. She has extensive experience handling matters across jurisdictions including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong and India. Jen Wei acts for and advises clients on a range of transport and trade related disputes including charterparties, commodity sale contracts, marine and cargo insurance, and carriage of goods by sea and air. She also regularly advises clients on trade related regulatory and compliance issues. She handles contentious shipping and admiralty matters in the Singapore courts and in arbitration, and advises ship owners, charterers, banks, shipyards and marine insurers. Jen Wei advises major insurance companies in medical malpractice disputes. She specialises in medical defence work and represents hospitals and medical practitioners. Jen Wei is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and aside from counsel work, she has been appointed as arbitrator in several international arbitrations. Jen Wei was awarded Lawyer of the Year for Shipping & Maritime, 2023 at the Women in Business Law Awards APAC.
