Hilary Bonaccorsi focuses her practice on advising clients across industries on the intersecting patchwork of global laws that govern privacy and data security. She has extensive experience assisting clients in the asset management industry, advising U.S. registered investment advisers on obligations under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and SEC regulations, and providing strategic advice on alternative data sets and web scraping. She counsels clients on the California Consumer Privacy Act, FTC and state consumer privacy laws, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and CAN-SPAM.
