Georges Okais is a partner at BLK Partners, splitting his time between Beirut and the UAE. He leads the firm's regional Policy and Government Practice, focusing on regulatory and compliance issues, government policy matters, and related projects, while also heading the dispute resolution department in Lebanon. He began his career as a judge in Lebanon for 17 years, presiding over the First Instance Tribunal in Beirut, then served as Head of the Strategic Planning and Performance Management Bureau in Abu Dhabi (2010), Undersecretary for the Technical Office of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (2010), and adviser to the Minister of Justice in the UAE (2014-2018). In 2018, he was elected as a Parliament Member of the Lebanese Parliament representing Zahle, and currently serves on the Justice and Administration, Foreign Affairs, and Human Rights parliamentary committees. He is a member of the Beirut Bar Association.
