Shreya heads up the firm’s newly opened Mumbai Office. Shreya divides her time between trademark searches and clearance, assignment and related transactions, prosecution and opposition as also Design and Geographical Indications filing and prosecution. Shreya regularly appears before the Trademarks Registry in relation to prosecution as well as opposition matters. She conducts IP awareness classes for school students on behalf of the Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM), Government of India and Fashion Designing Institutes and Universities across India. She also oversees a number of the pro-bono initiatives of the firm. She has executed a complex anti-genericization campaign for the house mark of a Fortune 500 document management and technology company. Recently, She has also successfully obtained several declarations of well-known status of trademarks owned by an International non-governmental organisation and a Pharmaceutical giant by the Trade Mark Office. Successfully negotiated settlements and concluded 76% of a Textile and Agro client’s total disputes in one calendar year. She has designed an enforcement program for a statutory body in policing misuse of their trademarks and tackling proliferation of unauthorised sellers and has had a 87% success rate in one calendar year. · Fidus Law Chambers
