Shivacharan is a Partner in the Banking & Finance Practice. With almost two decades of experience, he has represented several banks and financial institutions, NBFCs, investment funds, foreign portfolio investors, financial investors, entrepreneurs, asset reconstruction companies, multilateral funding agencies, microfinance companies, fintech companies, construction companies as well as government and regulatory bodies. He has advised on structuring debt financing transactions including investment in listed debentures, due diligence, preparing transaction documents including term sheets, facility agreements and security documents, assisting clients in negotiations, and advising on the regulatory framework and related matters. He has also advised financial creditors, the committee of creditors as well as resolution applicants under IBC.
