Brijita Prakash

Brijita’s primary practice area is property laws. She has extensive experience in title diligence and transaction advisory in the real estate sector. Most of the prominent developers and builders in the State of Karnataka are represented by Ms. Brijita. She is valued for her in-depth understanding of the issues relating to title, urban development, litigation concerns and issues arising out of customary practices in the real estate sector. Brijita handles the entire transaction from the stage of preliminary review of title to documentation preparation, finalization and closing of the transaction. Brijita has enormous experience in the renewable sector, in advising relating to land aggregation and compliance for power generation. She has represented many marquee clients in this sector and has contributed to the development of various renewable power plants (solar and wind) in the State of Karnataka. Brijita also advises extensively in compliance to RERA and consumer laws, relating to the real estate sector. Given her litigation experience (for a decade) in the past, she is well versed with the issues that arise in matters concerning consumer disputes and regulatory compliance. She provides her counsel on resolution of disputes and also provides opinion on litigation matters in the real estate sector. Brijita is a ranked lawyer by Legal500 and Chambers Asia-Pacific.
