Joachim Breithaupt

Joachim specialises in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and succession, and advises on venture capital deals and management buyouts. He also has wide experience of cross-border tax issues and the development of closed-end funds. In addition, he assists in developing tax-optimised structures for SMEs and entrepreneurs. As legal adviser of the Association of Mercedes-Benz car dealers in Germany, Joachim has very broad knowledge of the automotive sector. Together with members of the commercial team in Cologne, he advises several car dealers and dealer associations on the new block exemption for the distribution and servicing of motor vehicles in the European Union.
