Arlene Chow

Arlene Chow, a first-chair Chambers-ranked litigator and trial lawyer, represents companies in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries on patent, trade secret, and licensing disputes. She serves as Global Vice Chair of the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Industry Group. Arlene routinely litigates IP matters directed to small molecule and biologic drugs for the treatment of a wide variety of indications, as well as medical devices and dosage forms. Leveraging her background in biochemistry, Arlene is able to frame matters from the perspective of a judge or jury in order to achieve the best solutions for her clients. Arlene thrives on interaction with scientific experts, both in-house and externally. Arlene is a United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registered patent attorney, and one of a select few who has been first-chair not only in district court trials and hearings, but also federal circuit arguments, and inter partes and post grant review hearings before the USPTO.
