Florian Schiefer
Dr. Florian Schiefer advises clients on international corporate and group tax law, international tax planning, transaction tax, real estate taxation, and investment taxation. Prior to joining McDermott, Florian worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Business Taxation at the University of Bamberg and completed his doctorate in 2014. He then worked for several years as a chartered tax advisor for a reputable international law firm in Berlin and Frankfurt. Florian is the author of numerous articles and publications on topics surrounding national and international tax law. He is a lecturer for international tax law at the University of Bamberg and a frequent speaker on tax issues.
