
Matthew Gagnon
Matt’s practice focuses on defending employers against complex class and collective action litigation arising under federal and state wage and hour and anti-discrimination laws, as well as government-initiated investigations and litigation. He has extensive experience defending clients with a national presence in a wide range of industries, including franchisors, hospitality and restaurant companies, staffing companies, retailers, financial institutions, and education companies. His expertise covers the full scope of claims and theories arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, ADEA, EPA, and the ADA. A significant portion of Mr. Gagnon’s practice entails litigation against the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, both at the early charge stage and in large-scale EEOC pattern or practice litigation.
