Jean-Gabriel Flandrois is a partner in Gide's Mergers & Acquisitions /Corporate practice group. He has gained extensive experience in the coordination of cross-border transactions in Europe and the MENA region and in the acquisition and restructuring of banks and other financial institutions. In France, Jean-Gabriel is regularly advising on private equity transactions and is also involved in transactions in the FinTech sector. Jean-Gabriel recently advised Société Générale on the sale of its subsidiary in Georgia, BNP Paribas Cardif on various transactions including the acquisition of Icare, a subsidiary of Europ Assistance, VimpelCom on the EUR 1 billion sale of its 51% holding in Orascom Telecom Algérie (Djezzy) to the Fonds National d'Investissement FNI, the Algerian National Investment Fund. He also advised German media group ProSiebenSat.1 on its acquisition of a stake in Deezer, various banks and other investors in a new "blockchain" initiative and private equity group Investindustrial on various transactions including the buy-out of Selective Beauty as part of a global financial restructuring of a private equity transaction and DFDS in connection with the sale of Eurotunnel shipping activities (SeaFrance). · Gide Loyrette Nouel
