Partner at McCann FitzGerald LLP and former Head of the Corporate Group, David Lydon qualified in 1992 after graduating BCL from University College Dublin in 1988 and joined the firm as a trainee in 1992, becoming partner in 2000. He has extensive experience across corporate transactions—including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations, demergers, capital reductions and share buy-backs—and advises Irish and international banking and financial services clients on Irish corporate law, commercial contracts, corporate governance and regulatory matters.
