Dr Johannes Baur is an Senior Associate in Fieldfisher´s Hamburg office and advises clients on the full spectrum of IT- and data-related regulation. He routinely guides clients through data protection and data-usage law – from international data-transfer strategies to complex data-sharing agreements and data monetisation models, cybersecurity compliance and incident response and AI regulation and governance. He is helping organisations align products and internal processes with the AI Act and related standards, platform regulation, including risk assessments, transparency obligations and content-moderation frameworks. Over the past several years he has acted for both national and international clients in data-driven industries, with a particular focus on SaaS, healthcare, financial-services and advertising technology sector.
