Ted Harrison

I am a debt finance lawyer advising largely on fund finance, corporate lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance and debt restructuring. I am a Partner in Fladgate's Funds, Finance & Regulatory team. I qualified in 1997 and have extensive experience of debt finance transactions and relationship management in the funds, asset management, private equity, insurance, lending, technology, telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure, commercial real estate, hotels, health and care areas. I recently joined the FF&R team to work with colleagues who advise on what are the main aspects of my practice: debt finance, usually involving investment funds and invariably within a regulated sector. As do I, those colleagues act on domestic and cross-border matters in a variety of fields. In advising through a number of upturns and downturns and also stabler periods, I have developed and maintained a broad practice so as to be able to offer clients several potential ways to achieve their commercial aims. Structuring transactions, as well as executing them, has therefore become an important part of my work. I have a keen interest in sport which has refocused over the years from participating to spectating and encouraging my children, though I still play tennis and run a fair bit. As an exile to London from the North West of England, I remain a devoted fan of the football, rugby and cricket teams I grew up supporting! · Fladgate LLP
