She has particular expertise in tax planning for UK-resident but non-UK domiciled individuals and their families, including in relation to the establishment and taxation of trusts, remittance planning and associated issues, estates and succession planning and advising on the steps non-UK resident individuals should take prior to becoming UK resident to ensure tax efficiency. More recently, Hannah has advised extensively on the reforms to the taxation of non-UK domiciled individuals both for clients who wish to retain their connections to the UK and for those planning to leave the UK as a result of the reforms. Hannah’s commercial and pragmatic approach as well as her ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment has been invaluable to clients affected by these recent reforms. Hannah works with a broad range of clients, often across generations, and finds it rewarding to offer solutions to complex problems.
