Founding partner of LALIVE and now Senior Counsel, Michael E. Schneider has practised international arbitration for more than 40 years, acting both as counsel and as arbitrator under major institutional and ad hoc rules. He focuses on disputes involving states and corporations in construction, infrastructure, industrial engineering, natural resources (notably oil and gas), pharmaceuticals and telecommunications, and has held leadership roles including honorary president of the Swiss Arbitration Association and vice‑chair of the ICC Commission on Arbitration until 2014.
