Trained as a physiotherapist before switching to law, she trained at Irwin Mitchell and qualified as a solicitor in September 2002; she led the clinical negligence department at Alsters Kelley and joined the Medical Accident Group at Harrison Clark Rickerbys in 2014, becoming a partner and assisting in the running of the clinical negligence team.
