Alicia advises on a broad range of tax and structuring matters but has a particular focus on advising in relation to the formation and structuring of private investment funds and investment management businesses, including family-owned investment management businesses and investment platforms. Alicia’s clients range from large international investment fund managers to UK family investment platforms and the executives that operate them. Alicia has advised on fund raisings for a number of our investment fund clients operating in private equity, credit and hedge fund strategies as well as family office investment platforms and particularly specialises in advising on structures which involve the interaction of UK and non-UK tax considerations. Alicia has a particular specialism in structures which include both a UK and US nexus and she has spent nearly a year on secondment within the tax group of a leading New York law firm. · Macfarlanes LLP
