Clare Arthurs

Clare heads the dispute resolution division and is a member of the firm's strategy board. A former commercial and public law litigator, Clare led the knowledge function for the commercial dispute resolution team prior to her appointment as partner in 2021, working across a broad range of specialisms including international litigation and arbitration, group actions, professional negligence, reputation management, and regulatory compliance. In recent years she has played a pivotal role in the introduction of new technology, business improvement and team leadership. Her responsibilities have also included organising training for fee earners and drafting and maintaining the department’s precedent documentation. She has devised and delivered a variety of client facing seminars. Clare is an established author in the legal press, writing for journals such as New Law Journal, Solicitors Journal, Commercial Litigation Journal, the International Bar Association Newsletter and Insolvency Intelligence.
