Alistair has over 18 years of experience working in the frontline of family law, including cases that have re-shaped and progressed the law. Among his many reported cases are Jones v Jones on the treatment of non-matrimonial assets on divorce, and the Court of Appeal case of Haley v Haley which changed the standard for challenging family arbitration awards to align with that applied to court judgments. His work portfolio spans both financial and children matters, often closely intertwined, and typically for HNW and UHNW clients. He is renowned for his holistic approach to divorce and relationship breakdown, believing that clients achieve better outcomes when financial and children issues are addressed together.
