Leela is a Senior Associate in the Corporate and Commercial team at Bates Wells and advises on a wide range of commercial contracts across sectors: IT, technology, consumer goods and services, financial services, industry associations, local government pension pools and non-profits. In addition to this, she has supported clients with shareholder and limited partnership arrangements, advice related to investment documents (either discretionary management or private markets). Leela also supports clients with advice related to applicable legislative and regulatory updates. Her recent work includes advising on the Consumer Rights Act and the upcoming Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act; supporting global manufacturers in the consumer goods and luxury products industries by setting up their distribution networks; and advising purposeful organisations such as B Corps, and Royal Charter bodies on a variety of commercial arrangements such as grant agreements, publishing agreements, IT/SaaS contracts, licensing agreements, and outsourcing agreements. · Bates Wells
