Jonathan Gatward

Jonathan is a Partner in the Corporate and Sport departments. Jonathan is primarily a transactional lawyer advising clients on the full range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, reorganisations and joint ventures, working closely with colleagues in other departments – tax, employment and property. He acts mainly for private companies but of all sizes, including start-ups, family offices and entrepreneurs, many of whom are active internationally. Jonathan's clients operate across a range of business sectors, but he has a particular interest in businesses whose branding and intellectual property rights are key assets, including publishing and fashion. Jonathan also has an expertise in partnership law, including LLPs and LPs, and advises on all aspects of their set up and structuring, management and mergers and disposals.
