Clare is a Legal Director in the Private Client department. Clare’s advises a wide range of clients ranging from high net worth (and ultra high net worth) individuals, to trustees of family trusts with a variety of assets and underlying structures, spanning both onshore and offshore jurisdictions. In particular she is experienced in: advising on complex estate and inheritance tax planning including cross-border matters; UK tax, residence and asset structuring advice for high net worth families relocating to and leaving the UK; advising on family succession issues including family businesses, preservation of family wealth and governance; creation of new trusts and advising on the tax and trust implications of structures resident in the UK and offshore .
