Richard Gaffney
Richard is a Principal Lawyer in the personal injury team at Slater and Gordon’s offices in Cambridge. He specialises in claims involving catastrophic and serious injuries. Richard has significant experience in claims involving head injury, multiple orthopaedic, amputation and fatal accident claims. He spent 10 years in the armed forces before becoming a lawyer so has particular experience in dealing with military accident claims. Richard is a Principal Lawyer in the personal injury team at Slater and Gordon’s Cambridge office, practising full-time in claimant personal injury since 2000 and having joined Slater and Gordon in 2013. He specialises in serious and catastrophic injuries — including head/brain injury, spinal and multiple orthopaedic injuries, amputations and fatal accidents — has particular experience in military accident claims following ten years in the armed forces, and is Slater & Gordon’s principal lawyer for Cycling UK; he is a member of APIL and part of a team accredited by the Spinal Injuries Association and Headway.
