Lara Bennett
Senior associate, Lara Bennett is based in the firm’s Cardiff office where she takes on a supportive and supervisory role with team members, and plays a significant part in building strong relationships for business development. Lara advises clients on a wide range of complex clinical negligence claims, including birth injuries, anaesthetic injury, nerve damage, oncology and gynaecology. She also handles claims involving delay or failure to correctly diagnose, hospital and GP negligence claims, and a number of orthopaedic claims including hip and knee replacement surgery. Renowned for her attention to detail and empathy, Lara is meticulous in ensuring the very best results for her clients. She has handled a number of class actions, delivering excellent results and has a particular interest in birth injury claims, as well as fatal accident and amputation claims. The past year has seen Lara complete her application for Law Society accreditation and continue to play a major role in undertaking settlement meetings with NHS Resolution to assist in bringing claims to a timely settlement. · Slater and Gordon
