
John Midgley
John is a Partner in the Property Disputes team and heads up the specialist Leasehold Enfranchisement team at Seddons. His clients include residential and commercial landlords, tenants and managing agents. John is a leading practitioner in the field of collective enfranchisement, lease extensions and right to manage claims, having been involved in numerous highly contentious cases. His work also includes possession/forfeiture proceedings, service charge/rent disputes, dilapidations claims, contentious business lease renewals and breach of covenant actions. John is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners. He writes regularly for the “UK Landlord” magazine and other publications on a variety of enfranchisement and landlord and tenant issues. John was instrumental in pioneering the Leasehold Reform Amendment Act 2014 and continues to work with parliamentarians on issues within the leasehold sector. · Seddons GSC LLP
