About

John Beechey CBE is a UK-based independent international arbitrator with extensive experience as chairman, party-appointed and sole arbitrator in both ad hoc (including UNCITRAL) and institutional arbitrations, having sat on tribunals on more than 80 occasions. He is a past President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (2009–2015), was founding partner and Head of the International Arbitration Group at Clifford-Turner/Clifford Chance (1983–2008), and was appointed CBE in June 2016.
