Yvonne Hudders
Yvonne is a Legal Director in the Casualty team and is based in our Birmingham office but has clients nationwide. On joining Weightmans in 2009, Yvonne brought extensive experience of acting on behalf of local authorities and public sector clients in the London and South East area. Yvonne’s practice is broad and covers defending speciality claims such as complex injury, historic child and adult abuse claims, highways, flooding claims as well as a particular interest in GDPR/DPA breaches. Clients also seek safeguarding advice and Yvonne has also advised on flooding and highways policies. Yvonne also has an interest in sustainability and ESG and acts as the Birmingham ESG Champion supporting the firm’s ambition to achieve net zero. Yvonne is a member of FOIL (Forum of Insurance Lawyers). Admitted as a solicitor in 2006 and a Fellow of CILEX in 2000.
