ronagh is a Principal Associate solicitor in the Specialty Team of Weightmans. Bronagh advises on professional indemnity claims pursued against a diverse range of professionals, with a particular focus on complex construction-related disputes. Bronagh is regularly instructed to defend claims against architects, contractors, surveyors and engineers. In the wake of the Grenfell Tower Disaster, these instructions often relate to high-value multi-party claims arising from cladding and façade defects. As well as defending claims, Bronagh regularly advises insurers on insurance coverage and the terms and application of professional indemnity policies. This advice often deals with notification, applicable exclusions, the duty of fair presentation and breach of policy conditions/obligations.
