Sarah Irwin
Sarah is a Principal Associate in our litigation team based in our Liverpool office. Sarah specialises in the defence of professional indemnity claims pursued against a diverse range of professionals in both the construction and legal sectors. Sarah is regularly instructed to defend claims against architects, project managers, engineers and surveyors, including high-value multi-party cladding claims. She also defends claims against solicitors and barristers arising from a wealth of underlying subject matters including disputes concerning family law, litigation, criminal proceedings, conveyancing and the administration of estates. Sarah also advises on extensive policy coverage issues such as the terms of property damage insurance policies, professional indemnity policies and non-damage business interruption extensions. She has experience of acting in complex claims before the High Court along with dealing with various means of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and adjudication. · Weightmans LLP
